Symbiosis is one of India’s leading private co-educational institutions imparting quality education for over 40 years. Symbiosis International University is a multilingual, multinational and multidisciplinary educational complex located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. It has been given official recognition by the UGC and the AICTE. “SIU has been re-accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’ and CGPA of 3.58 on a four-point scale”. SIU is part of the Symbiosis Society which is its managing body.

Symbiosis society was established in 1971 by Prof. Dr.S.B Mujumdar with the objective of promoting the idea of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the World as One Family) by facilitating the interaction between Indian and Foreign students through education. From a single building in 1976, Symbiosis has grown today into 10 campuses – Pune (6), Nashik (1), NOIDA (1) Bengaluru (1) and Hyderabad (1). In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India conferred the “Deemed to be University” status on Symbiosis, and further in 2006, the UGC vide its notification withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the university as Symbiosis International University (SIU).

SIBM Bengaluru

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Bengaluru was established in 2008 as a constituent of Symbiosis International University with the aim of imparting world-class education to students and transforming them into top notch leaders of the corporate world. We take pride in presenting to you the Final Placement Report for the Batch of 2019, alongside it we would like to give you a glimpse of Summer Internship placements for the Batch of 2020. SIBM Bengaluru saw an exceptional year on the terms of Final Placements, wherein the regular recruiters like Accenture, Credit Suisse, CRISIL, Cummins, Dell, Deloitte, Honeywell, ITC Limited, JP Morgan Chase & Co., KMPG, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, MTR Foods Pvt. Ltd., Puma, Reckitt Benckiser, Thoucentric and Wildcraft reinforced their faith in the talent and calibre of our students by hiring them in big numbers. This year we also saw a slew of new companies engaging with us for our placement process like AB InBev, Ather Energy, Ashirvad Pipes, Bajaj Allianz, Bisleri, Britannia, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, CBRE, Cedar Management Consulting, Eli Lilly, Futures First, Google, H&M, IBM, ICICI Prudential, JIO Studios, Korn Ferry, McAfee, Motilal Oswal Securities Limited, Reliance Broadcast Network, Schneider Electric, Swiss Re, Thought Works, Total Oil, Trafigura Global Services, who offered challenging job roles to our graduates in different sectors such as BFSI, FMCG, Consulting and many more.
