entrance tests.

December. As you have been given choices to select the month in which you
want to appear for the exam. With good research and discussions with
appeared applicants, it is advised that the best months to appear for the exam
is in December and February.

choice – Internet-Based Test (IBT), Computer-Based Test (CBT) or Paper-
Based Test (PBT) and the eligibility criteria for all three modes are
same. There is no limit on the number of attempts for taking the exam.

Yes, some of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) do accept
Management Aptitude Test MAT scores. However, it’s important to note that
acceptance of MAT scores by IIMs may vary from year to year, and also
depend on the specific IIM and the programmed you are applying to.

AIMA conducts Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) for MAT
2023, apart from CBT and PBT MAT exam modes. The MAT 2023 exam

Composite Score of 400 and above is considered a good MAT score.
Most of the MBA colleges accepting MAT select students having MAT score
in the range of 80 percentile to 99 percentile.

Achieving a good score in MAT deserves an appreciation. Based on
your good score in MAT exam. If you have more than 85 percentile in your MAT then you are eligible to avail the scholarship.

Can I make another attempt at MAT exam, if I score low in first
attempt? Yes, you can attempt MAT exam as many times as you want. MAT
is conducted multiple times in a year and three different modes. The MAT
exam is held in February, May, September and December.

Total marks of MAT exam is 200. Every question carries one mark for
correct attempt and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong
answer. No marks is deducted for skipping questions.

The biggest advantage of taking up the MAT MBA entrance test has to be
that nearly all international schools accept MAT scores. As the MAT exam
score is accepted by more than 600 MBA colleges in India, it is one of the
largest MBA entrance tests in the country. No other MBA entrance exam is as
widely accepted as MAT.

The MAT is accepted by over 600 MBA colleges in India, making it one of the
country’s most popular MBA entrance exams. Furthermore, MBA colleges that
accept MAT scores for admission offer a variety of popular, emerging, and
niched specializations.

In comparison to MAT, GMAT is considered much tougher when it is about
the syllabus. GMAT is almost similar to the CAT in terms of difficulty level. But
some other factors make GMAT much convenient than MAT. You can appear
in the GMAT exam during any business duration throughout the year about 5
times.

1 year
MAT results 2023 and MAT exam scores are valid for 1 year from the date of
MAT result declaration for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes in the MBA
colleges accepting MAT scores. AIMA MAT Result 2023 scores will be sent to
the Management Institutes (MIs) as well as to the candidates by AIMA.

Candidates can choose from up to 600 MBA colleges which accept MAT
score for admission. Once the MAT result for an exam phase is
announced, the scorecards are sent to selected colleges. The colleges then
contact the candidates for shortlisting process if they qualify on the basis of
minimum MAT cut off

Yes, it is possible to crack MAT with 1-month preparation, but only if you have
studied the topics included in the MAT syllabus before or have prepared for
MAT or any other MBA entrance exam.

There is a myth that it is easy to crack MAT exam. Questions in MAT exams
are relatively easier than CAT, but that doesn’t make MAT an easy exam to
crack. Because of the easy nature of question paper, a lot of effort and
emphasis goes onto speed and accuracy in solving the questions.

40 Marks for each section with 40 questions is the maximum raw score with a
total of 200 raw marks for all the 5 sections. MAT scores are scaled to 100 for
each section. The scaled score is therefore, awarded in the score card in the
range of 0-100 in each section.

Preparing for MAT requires a lot of hard work. Many students feel that doing
well in the exam without coaching classes is not possible. However, there are
so many opportunities available around you which if utilized properly are the
key to a 100th percentile.
